Construye 2020+ participates in the Sustainable Energy Week organized by the European Commission
The focus group carried out by the European project has been present among the European events held on the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW2020).
Construye 2020+ has participated in the Sustainable Energy Week 2020, organized by the European Commission, from 22nd to 26th June. An annual event, which this year has been focused on going “Beyond the crisis: Clean energy for green recovery and growth”, where we have presented the focus group organized by the partnership last Wednesday, June 24th, by videoconference with experts in training, learning validation, educational innovation, thermal insulation and sustainable construction.
This edition of the EUSEW has been completely digital, because the security measures implemented by European community against the Covid-19, which has not reduced the interest of the public that has participated in the event, beating record of attendance. More than 6,000 participants from 120 different countries joined in to achieve Sustainable Energy, twice the number compared to the physical event. It also sparked a high level of interaction with more than 4,000 users viewing the sessions and engaging with speakers via Slido, a digital interaction platform.
Highlights included: a 3-day digital policy conference, the EUSEW Awards, the first European Youth Energy Day as well as 1:1 video meetings, virtual stands and other networking activities. Throughout June, participants also had access to online side events and Energy Days, digital events taking place all over Europe.
