More than 360 registrations for Energy Efficiency courses for blue collar workers and middle-level managers

During June and July, Construye 2020+ held seven calls for Energy Efficiency courses for blue collar workers and middle-level managers, supported by the European Commission, in which more than 360 students enrolled. After the successful reception, on September 1st new calls will be launched for September and October, which will be published through the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción channels, and also through the Construye 2020+ channels.

These free, online training courses last 8 hours and aim to detect common building errors and highlight good practices in the different construction works, in order to carry out sustainable construction. This would mean lower energy bills for households and an improvement in comfort and health.

Training focused on the labour market

At the end of these trainings, the student will receive an accredited diploma, endorsed by the Construye 2020+ partnership, which is formed by: Fundación Laboral de la Construcción; Instituto Nacional de las Cualificaciones (Incual), which is part of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport; Instituto de Ciencias de la Construcción Eduardo Torroja (IETCC) of Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC); Fundación Estatal para la Formación en el Empleo (Fundae); Centro de Investigación de Recursos y Consumos Energéticos (Circe); andInstituto de Robótica y Tecnologías de la Información y de las Comunicaciones (Irtic) of the University of Valencia.
